Welcome to ASHA/Nepal
ASHA/Nepal is a non-profit making, non-political and non-governmental organization established in 1998. ASHA/Nepal is registered in District Administrative Office (DAO) in Kathmandu and affiliated with Social Welfare Council, which is the government body of the NGO sector in Nepal.
Nepal is rich country in diversity in terms of several aspects, which is one of the remarkable aspects of Nepal in compare to other countries in the world. The diversity varies from biological and cultural aspects. The diversity of ecosystem supports a great diversity of habitats and species. Similarly, cultural diversity often follows the patterns of biophysical diversity because of the intimate relationship between rural people, natural resources and knowledge/skills at local level.
-To assist schoolchildren, local clubs, women groups and small farmers groups with the implementation of their own health, sanitation, nutrition, sustainable agriculture, food security and livelihood programs.
-To establish network between individuals and organizations involved in the above-mentioned field in development activities.
ASHA/Nepal aims to help eradicate poverty and develop self-reliant society in the country through the development and promotion of health, sustainable agriculture and sustainable development principles and practices, by demonstrating results, sharing knowledge and influencing on related activities.
